These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Store Build Lab (the “Site”) and any tools, content, templates, and resources we provide (the “Services”). By using the Site or Services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.

1) Who we are

“Store Build Lab,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refers to the operator of storebuildlab.com.

2) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, tool features, or legal requirements. The “Effective date” above shows when this version starts. Your continued use of the Site after updates means you accept the updated Terms.

3) Who can use the Site

You must be able to form a legally binding agreement in your location to use the Services. If you are using the Site on behalf of a business, you represent you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

4) What we provide

Store Build Lab provides educational content and planning tools designed to help you think through ecommerce setup decisions, like store structure, collections, pages, and launch steps. This includes the Store Blueprint tool.

Why this exists: a good store is more than a theme. The “structure layer” (information architecture, trust signals, and performance-safe decisions) is what protects SEO and conversions long-term.

5) No professional advice and no guarantees

The Services are provided for informational and educational purposes only. We are not providing legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice.

We do not guarantee outcomes, including rankings, traffic, revenue, conversion rates, ad performance, or platform approvals. Your results depend on your execution, niche, products, market conditions, and third-party platforms.

6) Tool inputs and outputs

The Store Blueprint tool uses the information you enter to generate an output.

• At this time, we do not store your blueprint inputs in a database we control.
• Inputs may still be processed temporarily to generate results.
• Standard technical data (like server logs, error logs, or security events) may be collected as part of operating the Site.

Do not enter sensitive personal information into the tool (payment details, government IDs, or anything you would not want exposed).

7) Intellectual property

All content on Store Build Lab, including text, templates, tools, branding, layout, and original media, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may:

• Use the content and tool outputs for your personal or internal business use.

You may not:

• Copy, republish, sell, license, or redistribute our content or tools as your own product
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the tool logic or prompts at scale
• Create a competing tool using substantially similar content, structure, or outputs from our Site

8) Your content

If you submit content to the Site (such as a contact form message), you grant us permission to use it only as needed to respond and operate the Services. You are responsible for what you submit and for ensuring you have the right to share it.

9) Affiliate links and third-party links

Some links on the Site may be affiliate links. If you click and take an action, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

The Site may also link to third-party websites (including Shopify and other platforms). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, pricing, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms.

10) Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site or Services. You may not:

• Use the Site for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive activity
• Attempt to disrupt the Site, probe vulnerabilities, or bypass security
• Use automated systems to scrape, crawl, or overload the Site without permission
• Upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent affiliation

We reserve the right to restrict access if we believe you are violating these Terms.

11) Availability

We try to keep the Site reliable, fast, and stable, but availability is not guaranteed. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

12) Disclaimers

The Site and Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Store Build Lab will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Site or Services.

If we are found liable for any claim, our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid us (if any) for the Services in the 12 months before the claim arose.

14) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Store Build Lab from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of another.

15) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or Services at any time if we believe you violated these Terms or if needed to protect the Site, users, or our rights.

16) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless your local law requires otherwise.

Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, unless a different venue is required by applicable law.

17) Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining sections will remain in effect.
